Clean up Australia Event

We are a community group founded in 1996. We meet weekly to work together on our local reserves and public land. Everyone is welcome, every contribution helps, from tree planting to making a cuppa or collecting native seeds.

We are also an approved Centrelink volunteer organisation provider.

We have a working bee each Tuesday at 8-30am. Our projects on the day may include tree planting, mowing, watering, recycling, and general tidying of the district. Our main projects focus on reserves along the Murray River, and reducing landfill.

We have a monthly meeting and lunch, and new ideas are always welcome. We also hold fundraisers and various social events including a Xmas dinner.

.One of our maintenance projects includes the maintenance of the old Coach Road at the Marne Mouth. Now used as a walking trail, it was once the overland route for stock and trading coaches in the area.

With the help of students from Pulteney Grammar School we are replanting the Marne site to stop erosion and encourage local wildlife.

Donations toward our running costs are welcomed at
